About Us
The Audio Department is a professional recording studio that has cultivated a long standing history of recording world class artists and notable performers in a variety of genres.
We are proud to announce this summer of 2019, The Audio Department will introduce a new highly immersive, week long performing & recording arts camp offered to young musicians, songwriters and emerging producers ages 14-18. The camp will be offered from July 2nd-6th 2019 and August 6th-10th 2019.
Our Focus
Our focus is to cultivate a fun and creative atmosphere where students can further their skills in the areas of performance, songwriting, and production. Guided by our instructors, the students will explore, write, and record music in a variety of genres and experience the fast paced world that is the recording studio.
The Camp
Young songwriters, performers, and emerging producers will be enveloped in a week long expedition where they will play in a band, craft original songs, and record their music in a professional studio environment. The week will end with an in-studio showcase for their friends and family. A recording of their songs will also be distributed at the end of the week.
Our Staff
Our Instructors are comprised of experienced musicians, performers, producers and audio engineers. All instructors have had extensive training in their respective fields and are committed to enriching the education and experience of all camp members.
Who Should Apply?
Students age 14 – 19 years old that have a background in music and experience in areas of voice (singing) Guitar, Bass, Piano and Drums should apply.
When Is It?
The camp runs Tuesday July 2nd – Saturday July 6th and Tuesday August 6th – August 10th from 9 am – 5 pm each day.
Tuition
The cost of the camp is $499 for five days of instruction.
